I have been using 3 of these boxes for a long while now and am giving up on them. Unfortunately I too have a cat that walks right in and does his thing without turning around. He has always peed over the edge of boxes and the step in side is just too low. If I recall, NVR used to sell an "addition" you could add on for height, but it still wouldn't change the low side. I'll be going to my local hardware store and purchasing totes to make my own boxes with, seems to be the only feasible option out there for cats that stand and pee. A very expensive experiment indeed.
